"Hamnet" had its world premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival. Ever since, it has been receiving excellent reviews from critics and audiences for its extraordinary craftsmanship and emotional storytelling. The film also won the 2025 TIFF People's Choice Award at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. Affonso Gonçalves, the co-editor of "Hamnet," was kind enough to spend some time talking with me about this great film he worked on. You can listen to the interview below. Please be sure to check out the film, which is now playing in theaters everywhere. It is also up for your consideration for this year's American Cinema Editors (ACE) Eddie Awards. Thank you, and enjoy the interview!

The editing work is great, and it is another beautiful film by director Chloé Zhao!
