"Sound of Falling" had its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Ever since, it has been receiving excellent reviews from critics and audiences for its exceptional craftsmanship and dreamlike storytelling. The film also won the 2025 Cannes Jury Prize and was selected as Germany's submission for Best International Feature Film at this year's Academy Awards. Mascha Schilinski, the director and co-writer of "Sound of Falling," and Fabian Gamper, the cinematographer of "Sound of Falling," were kind enough to spend some time talking with me about this great film.
